Student Watch and Escort Services

When not escorting students these services assist our department by watching for and reporting crime, emergencies, and suspicious situations to the police dispatcher.

Vehicle Escorts

The student vehicle escort service consists of up to two vehicles driven by radio equipped students working from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday during fall and winter semesters. These students provide rides between parking lots and residence halls to all students.

Walking Escorts

Walking escorts are also available for males and females from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. seven days a week. The student watch program consists of three pairs of students who wear highly visible vests and are equipped with portable radios.
